We use Dr. Little and have also seen Dr. Adair. They are both great! However, most of the rest of the staff seem to always be rude and very short, not friendly or helpful. When you walk through the front door they greet you with bad attitudes, and when you have a sick baby, that's the last thing you feel like dealing with. They also take forever to return a call. I am not one to call about every little thing, but two separate occasions when I was unsure of whether or not I should bring my child in, I called and left a voicemail for the nurse first thing in the morning. Both occasions they waited to call me back until after 2 that afternoon and both times they told me to go ahead and bring my child in because they were situations they thought they should probably see her. We live about 2 hours away so it ends up being a rushed trip late in the day and not getting home until that night.
Both of my children have seen Dr. Faye Roberts since birth and we absolutely love her. On occasion we have had to see other Doctors in the group for sick visits and they have also been wonderful. I highly recommend Children's Medical Group.
Don't let the bad reviews stray you away from this medical practice, as people are more apt to address a bad experience than a good one. We see Dr. Adaire and she is wonderful. She listens to my concerns, uses examples from her own parenting as to how things may or may not have worked for her in certain situations like addressing a child's behavior, etc. We have also seen Dr. Little when our doctor was out and he was equally as great! The wait times are a bit longer but that's because they seem to be a popular office, however I can still usually get my child in same day even for a wellness checkup. That in itself says a lot about their reputation.
We have used CMG for 4 years and love our doctor! However, we do not care for his new nurse. And we have seen other doctors in this clinic when our doctor was on vacation and we did not care much for them. We will now only see our doctor because of issues with the other doctors.
We saw another pediatrician at a different practice when my daughter was a newborn. My daughter had severe milk and soy intolerance that was undiagnosed until we started seeing Dr. Little. He knew immediately what the problem was. He called us after hours to talk about it, and he got us a rush appointment with a pediatric GI almost immediately. I am thankful for his knowledge. I also find the staff to be pleasant. We have seen a couple of the other doctors too, and they were all nice.
