Gorgeous cemetery. I love going here to see the beautiful funerary art and the peaceful surroundings.
We are pleased that Pinecrest will be our final resting place.
The worst experience you could imagine. Right from the beginning the staff seemed uncaring, unprofessional ,and inept at their job. After setting up initial meeting we were given little information and left alone in the room for long period of time. When questions were asked, the answer was not known because it was someone else's job. however we would go over that later. Later did not come.I felt hurried and that the staff did not want to know anything about how I wanted to honor my family member. I felt I was taking up their time instead of receiving a "caring guidance to a final goodbye". I had to physically visit Pinecrest daily to check on arrangements for my family member as phone calls were not returned. NO communication was sent my way. I was not asked to preview anything, check on preparations, if I wanted flowers, if I wanted engraving. No one wanted to take responsibility. The day of the funeral was further "salt in the wound" as communication among the staff was non-existent resulting in an embarrassing situation and dishonor and disrespect for my loved one. If I could rate Pinecrest less than -1, I would. Years ago Pinecrest had a great reputation. Everyone could count on them , not now. We still have lots in Pinecrest, but lots or no lots, we won't subject our family to this treatment again. This is a hard time, no one needs to have added stress from someone who is supposed to guide you in a time of need and should show compassion.
AAA +++ Service. I learned on Wednesday afternoon that I had to bury a person. The family wanted the services done on Saturday. I own plots in Pinecrest on DIP. In a moments notice they coordinated services from Memorial Funeral Home and their cemetery. Pinecrest staff took me to the location where the person was to be buried for my approval. I was told that the vault would be delivered on Thursday. On Saturday morning the Funeral started at 11 am at Memorial Funeral Chapel. At 12:15 we were gathered at Pinecrest with everything in place under a tent. At 12:35 everyone was ready to leave the cemetery. Everything at both funeral homes had excellent service.
Have had a number of meetings and calls over a period of years. Always have had attentive positive service..
.
I normally do not post anything negative and always try and see the positive in things. This is a different situation, my brother, Chance A Lane, and I have been patiently waiting for a bad situation with Pine Crest Cemeteries Funeral Home and Crematory to rectify itself now for 5 + months only for matters to never get solved. All funeral arrangements were paid in full a week prior to our father's burial and to this day, there still isn't a monument at his gravesite. There hasn't been any resolution here locally, just a bunch of empty promises and a lot of "I'm sorry's" from the very beginning. I would strongly advise if you plan to have your loved ones buried here, think twice before doing so. Would be happy to provide more details...
