However, I noticed a trend at both places. If they don't carry a product or they are out of stock, four times now I was automatically told it was discontinued. Four times they were wrong. Check online or check another location before you settle or give up.
I got my hair cut by Joel yesterday. I am thoroughly pleased with my cute hair cut. My hair looks so much healthier and he gave me a style that is easy to maintain. :) I give him 5 stars. I went in for a hair cut only, and was asked twice about doing something with my eye brows. It wasn't a service I was looking for. Declined both times. Not a big deal. I understand that they are sales people. However, if I want my hair cut only, don't try to sell me something else. Again, had nothing to do with Joel and his service. I got a great haircut. :)
Very poor customer service. I am learning how to properly apply makeup and I went it wanting to purchase everything that I needed to do so. I went to the Tarte section first bc I heard they were amazing. Two associates in that area were just standing there talking. Neither of them asked if I needed any type of help what so ever. When I did ask for help they both looked at each other like who wants to do it. IN FRONT OF ME. So unprofessional. Well I ended up with someone named Wheeler and she tested two colors in the Tarte foundation and that was it and all in a matter of 5 min. She acted like she was in such a hurry. When I asked if she could apply one shade to one cheek and the other shade to my other cheek. She very quickly replied “um we don’t do that, here’s some sponges and a mirror you can do yourself”. Not only was she snappy but she was very rude about it. I wasn’t asking for much, I just needed help AND I was the only customer on that side of the store. Never again will I step foot in that store. Needless to say I left without purchasing anything.
It was my first time at this ulta hair salon and I must say it was worth it. I made an appointment days prior with Joel. The day of I was pleasantly greeted and acknowledged. Very professional setting. My whole experience was pleasant. My hairstylist delivered exactly what I was looking for. I initially showed him a picture followed by our consultation and he transformed my words into gorgeous feeling hair. One thing that stood out the most, he was the first person who did not add so much heat to my scalp while blow drying my hair. Great customer service! He deserves all 5 stars!
So I decided it would be a good idea to dye my own hair Saturday night, long story short it turned orange. I went to see Joel in the salon and he did a great job fixing it. He is the salon manager and a color specialist. I will not be using anyone else!! Joel if you're reading this thank you so much!!! You're the best!!!
