there's some hidden places on board if you know were to look, and how to climb. this was great. its very compact and well maintained. ( hint look up as you walk around inside. )
One of the best examples of a submarine museum I've ever seen. be warned, if you are a big guy like me, the hatchways between one compartment and the next are small. Well worth going to go see,
One of the only submarines I know of that you can actually go inside. It's amazing how the entire sub is still in working condition. They've really done a good job renovating it. It's truly a great thing to go see on the weekend or on a trip. It's definitely worth it.
Cool to see how small submarine use to be. Not much space to move around in there. My kids really enjoyed the periscope.
This was a self guided tour and was pretty cool to check out. The entire sub has air conditioning and we were very thankful for this on a hot August day. Wish there was more to see and it is insane to think of spending time underwater with such limited space.
