I believe the postal service has found a new way to get over on the consumers. If your postal inspector general says that your mail is not considered "mail" until it has been scanned into the office, but your postal clerks REFUSE to give consumers proof that they submitted a package, it means that the postal service does not have to pay claims to people when they lose their packages, because there is no way to prove that the package was even received by the post office. I think this is a way for the post office to get away with theft and neglect. This is the second time that I have taken my package into a post office and was told that I could not have a receipt. I have not received confirmation that my package was scanned. My last package was stolen and I was informed that I couldn't submit a claim because they never scanned my package in. So even though the clerk told me to leave it there, it ended up being my fault for leaving it, and the post office would not pull the film unless it was a threat. So I lost my money and items, and received a big fat F you from the post office. I know I walked into that office with three packages, and left with none. And my package was never found. The post office is wrong for this and this is exactly why you are loosing money.

The only reason I gave them one star is because I had to so I could write my review. I know the main requirements for employment with the USPS. They are: #1: You cannot have attended high school, #2: You must have an IQ lower than that of a rock, and #3: You ABSOLUTELY MUST be ILLITERATE.

ALL of the Federal Government related services really need to be completely torn down and rebuilt from the ground up. I'm referring to the employees who are employed there. Everytime I go into a Post Office, any Office, I'm not even spoken to. When the employee looks at me, he/she has a look on their face as if they're ready to fist fight me. Coincidentally, the people that exhibit that attitude have been African American, and I don't believe there's such a thing as "COINCIDENCE." I'm absolutely NOT a prejudicial person. I believe we are all created in the image of GOD. However, without a doubt, the aforesaid statement will be called a 'racial slur' when, in actuality, it is simply MY OPINION. So, there's my review. I know the people who read this are thinking it, I'm just verbalizing what no one else will...

This post office is HORRIBLE!!!!!I went in to pick up a package and the lady I was talking to was acting all nonchalant and eating the whole time she was talking to me. And acted like she didn't want to go look for package. But thank goodness there was another worker there who overheard the conversation and went to go look for it.

I have so many residents that have come to me and complained about the front desk clerk at the Springhill office. She is absolutely miserable to talk to and no help at all. PLEASE find someone else who wants do to the job!!!

The line is usually pretty small, but there is typically only one person behind the counter. Dropping off prepaid packages is easy and quick because of close parking.
