I just started in the business admin program here, being out of school for 10+ years I passed the assessment but figure it would be a great chance for me to brush up on some stuff so I got into the framework classes. I've seen a lot of negative input on the school as a whole and I must say I've had a delightful experience thus far. Staff is very friendly and willing to help out when needed. Sure prices are a bit steep on some programs, but when you look at prices of some colleges they're a complete joke. My only concern right now is transferring to another college if I move back to Hattiesburg or job placement when I graduate and financial help without turning to a bank. Professionalism is great here and I hope to continue.
I love to get my hair done here! A haircut is only $8 and they do a great job. The instructors are very knowledgeable and the students are friendly. I would only give a 2 star review for their nail services though. I went in for a mani/pedi and was really disappointed. They don't scrub your feet to get the dead skin off or give you a little massage after. The nail polish colors are really limited and the students don't seem to be well trained in nail art. This is what I should expect from students and from the price which is why I wasn't upset. Overall, I would recommend Virginia College.
