We love Panera usually but this is a bad example of what Panera can be. We dined at 2:30 on a Tuesday. Needless to say, the restaurant was not busy. Every table was filthy. I let them know all the tables were dirty and asked someone to come clean. A few minutes later an employee made an appearance and slowly mosied along by me and crossed the dining room to get a wash cloth then came to the table I had been waiting at to wipe down the table (and a very poor job of it at that) I politely thanked her for wiping the table...she completely ignored me in a quite obvious way that she was giving me the cold shoulder for asking for a clean table. There were hardly any food orders being filled so my questions to management is why don't you have your staff out here cleaning & why are they not trained to be apologetic why a dining room is so bad that a customer can't find a place to sit? Ultimately the food was ok...my husband's sandwich wasn't grilled as requested but the remade it...my half sandwich was more like a quarter of a sandwich compared to other Panera Bread locations. We travel the country at tractor trailer drivers and we will definitely not revisit this location.
Great food. At 12:30, during the lunch rush they ran out of the soup I had ordered and I had to choose another to fill my order. (I think this could have been monitored a little bit better).
Last week my partner and I ate at Panera Bread on Airport Blvd in Mobile. The girl that served us us rude I guess because my partner and I are mixed race. Well, the manager called me and made it right. We went back and it was wonderful. Even got a free meal. I didn't see the girl that served us the other day but the manager and everyone were real nice. The food was good too.
1st time to this Panera after being a fan in other cities. Ordered the Bacon Turkey Bravo and Bistro French Onion soup. BTB tasted very different that I’ve had anywhere else. The quality or type of Turkey was different and honestly didn’t taste good or even right. Seemed like poor quality. The Bistro French Onion soup was different as well. It used to be so rich and savory but was too sweet at this location. My baguette was also undercooked. Service at the counter was good and didn’t have to wait for food too long despite the restaurant being busy.
It's a great atmosphere and the food is great, but make sure you order right because some things are gross IMO
