I HAVE 2 VECHICLES I GO TO ZIPPY'S AT LEAST 1 TIME EVERY WEEK FOR BOTH VECHICLES. THE ATTENDED TOLD ME AFTER HE HAD DONE SPRAYED MY WINDSHIELD, FRONT GRILL, WHEELS. HE SAID I CAN'T LET YOUR TRUCK GO THRU THE WASH.HE SAID YOU NEED TO GET LEAFS OUT THEY WILL HIT OTHER CARS. THERE WASN'T THAT MANY LEAFS IN BACK OF MY TRUCK. IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO KEEP ALL THEM OUT UNLESS YOU PARK IN A GARAGE. I'VE BEEN GOING THERE FOR 15 MONTHS, BUT I WILL TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWERE SINCE THE EMPLOYEE WAS SO RUDE TO ME. NO EXCEPTIONS. ALSO ABOUT 1 TRYING. AGO MY VECHICLE GOT DAMAGED BECAUSE A BLACK MAN HELD HIS BRAKE WHEN GREEN LIGHT WAS ON & I GOT PUSHED UNDERNEATH HIS VECHICLE. THEY ROLLED THE FILM BACK & HE WAS AT FAULT. TRUTHFULLY THEY PUT US TO CLOSE TOGETHER IN LINE, IF THERE WAS A LITTLE EXTRA SPACE THIS MAY HAVE NOT HAPPENED. IT'S BEEN A REAL EXPERIENCE DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS ZIPPY'S LOCATION IN SARALAND,AL. I HAVE HAD SEVERAL CLOSE CALLS BECAUSE OF NO SIGNS SO PEOPLE COMING OR LEAVING. NO SIGNS FOR EXITING THE WASH AND VACUUM AREA.SIGNS WOULD HELP BUSINESS & POSSIBLE KEEP SOMEONE FROM GETTING IN A WRECK. I'M JUST BEING A HONEST UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER. RANDY K.
Staff was very thorough on the pre wash and the car came out really clean the free vacuum of course is given
Though the drive thru wash does a good job, and the vacs are good, rim damage is high. Out where the kiosks are, they are set back too far from the curb. Making matters worse, they have a steel cap along the top outer edge of the curb. Whereas a well designed curb will rake back a few degrees - so if your wheel comes into contact, your rim won't. Here you will do some good scarring to your rim, and it's unbelievably easy. Over the years they must have damaged hundreds of rims. This Zippy's will be the most expensive drive thru car wash you'll ever take. I can only imagine the other Zippy's have the same very dumb design. Also, they never answer their phone, and apparently no website, so impossible to get a hold of anybody - apparently the intent. (Google for whatever reason posted photo of the damage twice.)
My car never gets cleaned all the way and when I say something they act like it is an inconvenience. When I pay for the managers special I expect it to at least get the dirt off my car.
