Please people never go to this place I don't preciate them doing this to my son and me!
Like I said, I have been wearing glasses for over 30 years, lived all around the US, and have never had a problem. Optometry is usually pretty simple, but for some reason these people make it really hard. My advice it to go somewhere else because anywhere would be better than these guys.
Had significant eye trauma from a nerf gun accident. Dr. Slay and staff took excellent care of me from the first visit to the last. I can't thank her enough. I highly recommend her
I have had the worst experience with all of the Vision Partner branches, but the one on Stanton Rd. took the cake. The staff was unbelievably rude and poorly trained. I went up to talk to the receptionist, she shooshed me, asked me if I didn't see her talking on the phone, and then closed the glass. I had an appointment at 9:30, but didn't get in until 11:00. When I did make it back to the office, they told me we would have to wait an hour and a half for my son's eyes to dilate. If this was the case, then why didn't they do that while we were already waiting. All in all, they expected me to be there for over 3 hours for an exam that might take 10 minutes.
The eye exam experience should not be that difficult, but somehow they make it that way.
The Daphne branch and Providence branches are just as bad. In Daphne, the doctors told me my eyes are getting better and I needed a weaker prescription. I asked them how was that possible since I have had glasses for 30 years and they stay pretty much the same or get maybe slightly worse. I thought that was just common sense, but I thought I could trust them. When I got my glasses back, they made my eyes cross. The staff told me that was because I needed a few days to adjust to the new prescription. After a few days, nothing. I took them back, got a new pair and the same thing happened again. It took them 3 tries before they could correct the problem.
Have always been treated with utmost care for what was in my best interest. When my insurance changed & I no longer could use them they made sure I was sent to the best retina specialist in town. Now that my insurance has changed once again & I can't use the dr I have been seeing, I have been welcomed back warmly to this office. Even though I have had to reschedule due to unexpected events I have never been treated with anything but respect & concern. "Tom" who makes the appointments is very professional, knowledgeable, very good at people skills & at the same time very kind. I have no complaints with this place & those who make up the team.
