Love Kirkland but will never shop at this location again...I'm sure it was my skin color that mattered, and I said that because everyone of Caucasian persuasion were able to shop in peace. But I've learned to keep my black dollar in my black purse!!
I went into the Kirkland's store located at Airport & Schillinger looking for a personalized garden flag with my family's initial. As I was browsing on the rack which was located close to the door, the manager (Connie)came from behind the counter and approached me and asked if I was finding everything ok to which I responded I'm fine. I remained in the store for around 30 additional minutes in which the manager NEVER left the comfort of the register. It was then that I felt like I had been profiled. I asked to speak with her and questioned her regarding our earlier interaction to which she played down by saying no I thought you needed help. My question to her at that point was so you didn't feel that any other of the dozen or so other customers in the store needed your help? I have never been so appalled in my life that this woman implied through her actions that I would steal a $10 garden flag. I am contacting the corporate office regarding this instance as I would hope that no one else has to have such an encounter with this manager.
