From the outside the place looks scary. On second thought the inside looks scary as well. APART from the way the place looks the groomer does a fantastic job! I've been to several other groomers in town and they have charged me more for a worse job. Get over the way this place looks and give it a shot.

I took my Westie girl to C&S Grooming in Mobile for a much-needed haircut. The building is nothing impressive and I never would have known it were there if I hadn't asked, but it's been right there across from Jimmy Lowe's Shop-Easy forever! The owner was very calm, warm, and friendly to my dog and me. I felt comfortable leaving her there, and when I picked her up I was so pleased! She looked very good! Her previous "do" was completely grown out and was not cut correctly for a Westie. C&S trimmed her, shaped her, and got all the details of a Westie spot-on... even her adorable carrot tail! The price was very reasonable. My dog was happy, calm, and healthy when she arrived AND when she left (a true sign when the dog is not upset at the vet/groomer/boarder). And the cut was very well done. Be advised they do not accept credit or debit cards, so take your checkbook. I live in Birmingham, but I will go back to Mobile when it's time for her next haircut!
C&S has been grooming my dogs for about 3 years. The building does resemble something like a concentration camp but the ladies are wonderful with my babies. The cuts are always A++ quality. With many years of experience they were able to recommend me a simple remedy for my dogs severely dry skin. It worked! I am very thankful I found C&S!
