I met this guy that came to board a bus to Columbus, Georgia for his 21st birthday. I later found out he was 64. He had been waiting there for 43 years. Poor guy. #speakmoreclearlyintoyourphone

This is where hopes and dreams go to die. The service is horrible,they blame you for missing the bus, and mumble into the microphone claiming that they “told you” the bus was boarding. So do not recommend...

Helpful hint: Arrive at your designated location at least an hour before departure. That way if there is a discrepancy with your ticket(s) or baggage, it can be dealt with in a timely manner. I have seen too many times where a passenger has either not paid attention to their ticket, fell asleep during boarding and departure, arrives just minutes before departure and expects to board, or create a scene because they do not want to hold themselves accountable for their actions. I have rode Greyhound on several occasions have NEVER had an issue with getting on the bus, arrival times, or being uncomfortable with my seating. And, I'm 6'8". And, I see a lot of comments about late arrivals and those who commented never take into account what attributes to those late buses; i.e. rush hour traffic, accidents, and/or road conditions. Be glad you were able to get to your destination instead of complaining about it. Because it could have been you involved in an accident or an altercation that could have prevented you from getting to where you wanted to get to in the first place. Where's the gratitude in that? And, as far as customer service is concerned, you'd probably have an attitude, too if you had to deal with stupidity and ungratefulness everyday. IJS

This is not for any specific location. Just greyhound customer service and their refund system.My bus from Atmore, Al to Houston, Tx was cancelled on the 5th and I was not informed. I waited at the pick up location for almost 3 hours while being on hold for half of that time. I paid $150 for this ticket. My refund was eventually processed on the 7th after having to call again after the ticket end day. But its now the day before Thanksgiving and i still dont have my refund. These are the holidays and I could use all my money. 7 -14 business days is blasphemy. Its day 12 and thanksgiving is tomorrow. I shouldn't have to wait on my money for an error the company made. Although the actually bus rides are fine...the process of getting your money back is impossible and I hope this is corrected soon because money doesn't grow on trees and I need mine.
