We have stayed 120 nights so far in 2017. This was the worst stay ever!
Very nice, chic hotel. The lobby was large and had a cool water feature and fireplace.
I have to say, this is probably the nicest and newest Hilton Garden Inn I have ever stayed in. The room is beautifully designed with many outlets for charging electronic devices. The hotel staff was wonderful. They went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as they could. The location of this hotel is great. Many places to eat within walking distance. I love that they have on-site self parking. Breakfast is cooked to order which I love. This will definitely be my go-to hotel when returning to Mobile in the future.
You could use your phone as a room key and for access in and out of the parking lot. The hotel was in a cool area of downtown near restaurants and bars.
We stayed in the hotel in April. The front desk was shockingly rude. We complained and the owner wrote a very nice e-mail stating that he "will set up a complimentary room for you and make sure your stay is what you expected". There was no time qualification. Today, we go to use the complimentary stay and we are told, "unfortunately offers for complimentary room expire 90 days after we offer them. The hotel management has changed as well". I have never had a bad Hilton experience before this. If you can, do yourself a favor and book somewhere else!!!!
Took 9 days for them to correct this. They tried to tell me they could not reverse the charge. Had to threaten to contact corporate to get things taken care of.
We are priority members so the room was booked with points. Somehow they messed up and deducted points and charged the two days onto my credit card.
Zero complaints during our stay. Very clean, friendly staff. House keeping lady was a super sweet heart. Drinks at the bar were on-point! Media room was a plus with my children (movies, ps4, xbox, wii, Jenga, chess, etc.). We will definitely be back. :)
Room was nice. Front desk person was rude the night I checked in. I asked where the elevator was and him and a female laughed and said look behind you. I had never been in that hotel so I did not know where the elevator was.
The hotel room itself had wood tile flooring throughout, a comfortable mattress and sleek finishes in bathroom. Along with the normal free toiletries provided in the bathroom, there was an adorably packaged tin of bath scrub from a local company.
