I cannot fully express my gratitude to Rachel, the manager, and the other front desk representatives. Long story short, I made a return drive from North Carolina, and I found a much needed destination because my vehicle had an immediate need of repair for a mechanical malfunction (i.e., alternator). My ultimate destination was Houston, Texas the next day. I thought I would be calling mechanics that evening trying to schedule an appointment for the following day; however, Rachel made a very unfortunate and difficult situation more than tolerable. Again, I cannot express my gratitude any more. Rachel was kind enough to give me contact information to have my car repaired. I cannot thank her enough because I arrived at the hotel in the evening, and my car was fixed that very night for a very reasonable price. I am back in Houston tonight in my own bed, and I am very pleased. And yes, this is a true story.
Room was lightly dark.Beds old and not clean overall. Big cockroach in bath. Breakfast only for to go. Only packed muffins, coffee/tea and oatmeal in a cup. We didnt used the kitchen in the room
Customer service was fantastic. The room was average, nothing bad or great. Queen bed, sink, 2 burner stove, fridge. No utensils for cooking, but didn't ask if they had them available either. The location would have been great, being located close to the 2 major freeways, except for the late night antics of what sounded like many overnight motorcycle street races on those freeways! Breakfast options were very small even by continental standards, but there was a Starbucks and a waffle house (super friendly folks!) across the street and next door. Would stay again, just with ear plugs
After having to wait 10 minutes for the lady at the front desk to take care of us, they would not allow us to stay because I ended up booking the hotel room while my mom was driving. Would not allow a switchover in reservations. Priceline charged me for a full price reservation cancellation. Customer service needs to be improved. There is no sign out front to tell you where you are except a small "entrance" sign. No markings on the building. Ended up staying elsewhere for the night.
Cleanliness is not a priority here. Our shower was dirty from the prior guest, we asked to clean it ourselves but were denied. The cleaning person came to our room, looked at the shower and said she didnt know what we were talking about but said she wiped the soap area anyway and walked out. The microwave was dirty with food still. The elevator was trashed and stayed that way for days. The price may be tempting but not worth the lack of Cleanliness.
